Our job continues as long as the “Heroes” are working. Our team members arrive on the scene within minutes of the first response and are usually the last ones to leave. Our main focus is to make sure that every First Responder is well hydrated when they are finished. Here is our team in action.

Box 55 means so much to us in the Nashville Fire Dept. These men and women volunteer their time day or night to come out and bring us not just drinks but a smile and a "Thank You". What a blessing they have been for our department to be there for us at any time.

To me Box 55 means knowing there’s someone to take care of us when we’re taking care of others. It’s the community giving back to us, even during an emergency. THEY’RE PEOPLE WE CAN COUNT ON!!

Box 55 MEANS SO MUCH TO THE NASHVILLE FIRE SERVICE. The fellowship always provides welcome relief to so many exhausted firefighters. We need to continue to be thankful for their heartfelt involvement in our mission of help.

BOX 55 IS A WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION. They show up rain or shine, day or night, and provide much needed relief on scene. THEY ARE TRULY OUR HEROES and I am grateful to each and every one of them.

Box 55 is a dedicated group of volunteers who show up when our department needs them most, no matter the weather or hour of the day. Their unwavering support ensures our personnel are taken care of so they can focus on taking care of others. Words can’t express what their service means to the men and women of the Nashville Fire Department.

Box 55 is a GREAT RESET BUTTON per say. When you come out of a fire or on any prolonged scene, it is a relief to know they are there to help with rehab and rehydration. SEEING BOX 55 IS A REAL MORAL BOOST knowing they are there with cold drinks, snacks and a great attitude.

Firefighting is an exhausting job where you encounter all the discomforts of nature including extreme heat, freezing cold, and wet conditions. Seeing the men and women of Box 55 show up providing comfort with food and drink refreshes our spirits!!! THEY VOLUNTEER TO HELP US OUT AND I CONSIDER THEM THE “FIRE ANGELS” of our profession.
